On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012, the brothers of the Mu Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, hosted their annual red carnation distribution. This year the brothers of the Mu Phi Chapter distributed 101 carnations in recognition of the fraternity’s 101 years of existence. The carnations had a note attached saying “Happy Valentines Day from the Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated” with a number on the back (from 1to 101) to be entered for a raffle later that night. At the raffle, the brothers of the Mu Phi Chapter gave each of the 8 raffle winners a box of chocolate, a Happy Valentine’s day balloon, and Valentine’s Day teddy bears.  Brothers of the Mu Phi Chapter also provided a dinner at an Applebee’s restaurant for the 8 lucky winners.
