Brothers of the Xi Lambda chapter came up with a unique way to have fun & provide a service to the community at the same time. They incorporated college students’ love for gaming systems with a charitable cause in mind by hosting the Kappa Madden Bowl Tournament on November 15, 2013 on the campus of the University of North Florida. The “entry fee” to participate in the tournament was a donation of 3 non-perishable canned good items. UNF students enjoyed free ice cream and music while competitors competed for the Kappa Madden Bowl Tournament title. The winner of the tournament received a monetary amount donated to the charity of their choice. All of the canned goods received were contributed to Thanksgiving basket collection in collaboration with the J.A.C.K.
