Ypsilanti Heritage Parade – AAYI Brothees Marched

On Saturday August 17, 2013, members of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Alumni Chapter came out to support the Ypsilanti Heritage Parade.
This was another historical event for our chapter. There were 14 members from our Kappa family in the Parade (Michael Kinloch, Jeff Holland, Allen Mason, Phil Anderson, Rod Kilgore, Joe Little, Richard Poole, Tim Lipkin, Mel Roper, Perrin Emanuel, Darryl Campbell, Eron Clifford,  Calvin Bradbury and Tyler Kinloch.
There were four (4) cars in the Parade with our chapter logo. Some of the other highlights of the parade included the Living History Encampment with storytelling, dances and powwow demonstrations from local Native American tribes, and Chautauqua at the Riverside- art, history and music about Ypsilanti.  Brothers had a great time marching in the Parade and passing out candy to the on lookers.
